Let’s talk about why you often feel underwhelmed when you take some sort of random course/group, follow random ‘guru’ tips or wannabe/new consultant… my heart here is to be as honest and direct as possible. I get weary of hearing all the sob stories without being able to be pragmatic and brutally honest. But I think it’s important to be in this case!

Honestly, I take such pride in my work… the 20 years of experience and pedigree I have worked quite diligently at, just to be able to lead you most effectively!

I’m going to approach this topic with the authenticity and transparency that I would give to a best friend or family member, truly!

Addressing why you’ve had bad experiences

It’s a question I get all the time, usually indirectly. I’ll meet a business owner that feels like they want to take their business to the next level. They want to grow, and yet they’ve made some decisions that they felt weren’t great, like taking some random course or reading some book they thought would change the game or attending a conference that was more so just like networking.

And I think one thing that will always be true, and I literally leverage my name, my brand, and my work ethic on, is the fact that you can know only so much if you don’t actually execute alongside your client. So for me personally, I actually built my agency based on the concept of not being an agency, not just being some random educator or company trying to sell you something, but instead partnering with you, partnering with business owners who are looking to take things to the next level, looking to grow their revenue and yes, make more money, I said it. And therefore, my entire job is a chief revenue officer. That means everything I do is related to you making more money… Not just giving you some education so you can feel like you learned something, not just giving you some cute mindset tip to inspire you, but actually rolling up my sleeves and to do what you need to take your business to the level you believe it belongs to be at. So when I think about that underwhelming feeling, or even sometimes that outright discomfort or lack of results that you’ve probably experienced with some random live training or course or mastermind or even coach, it always comes down to execution and implementation. It always comes down to having a true expertise.

Execution + Implementation = The Secret to Success

Having done this for almost two decades, I can tell you that, yes, it’s rare to find someone who’s got exactly the right pedigree that can give you, I think, the qualitative and the quantitative results and ability to not just make you feel good about the things that you’re doing to invest in your business, but also to show you how they make sense in your pocketbook. It’s rare, and I understand that, but I do you believe that a business needs to be at a certain level to take advantage of this. So I’m going to be really direct with you here. If you’re not interested in actually making more money beyond just revenue, but even profit, you’re probably not looking for that kind of investment. Maybe you’re okay with just taking some random course and feeling good about getting a little knowledge that you may not actually monetize.

Winners always win…

The other aspect of this is, I find, and this is going to be very controversial, when you’re in the 1%, when you’re in the top 10%, it’s a lot easier for you to go that much higher. It’s much more difficult when you’re just starting out or you’ve just been kind of getting by for a long time. It reminds me of something that’s been commonly talked about called a case shaped recovery. Right? Think about this with regards to the world we’re living in today. A case shaped recovery or a case shaped economy basically tells you that people who are doing great will keep doing better, and people who aren’t doing good will either stay the same or actually honestly perform worse. And this is what I see when I work with clients who are of the caliber of really being ready for a chief revenue officer. It becomes very clear that their revenue and their profit will go up.

It is very easy to see the tactics that are needed. They’ve tried some things, they didn’t work. They know why they didn’t work. You’ve got a business owner who’s involved enough to know when to invest, but not so involved that they’re stuck playing Jack or Jill of all trades. You know that person? May be that person. And so, there’s some traits that I commonly see that lead to that level of success. And so I want to encourage you, but I also want to be very pragmatic with you. If you’re not doing good and want to do better or great, it may not be that you need any education or additional help. But if you’re looking at your best couple of years in the past and you’re looking at the future and thinking, “How much better can this be?” I have great news for you. It can get a lot better, a whole lot better, both financially, and honestly, with the burden that you carry as a business owner.

If you’re on the fence, let’s talk about your needs + see if there’s a fit!

And I can say that with confidence because I not only work with business owners that have experienced this for decades, I am one. I have done this five times over in the industry that you work in. So I am proof that it’s possible and that you don’t have to do so with the burden of figuring out everything you need to do. Taking the guesswork out of what you have to do is why I get out of bed every morning. I really believe this will reach the person that really needed that light on to say, “Okay, it’s time to invest in the business. It’s time for me to grow the business to the level that I believe it belongs.”

And if you’ve been on the fence, I think it’ll help you to realize which direction you need to go….

Are you really serious about this business to the point where you’re willing to roll up your sleeves, invest, work with an expert?

Or are you just kind of in hobby mode and you’re okay there and you’re probably going to be there for some time.

Either path is okay. What I want to do is give you proven tactics that get you out of hobby mode and really at the level that you belong to earn at. That’s where life gets reeeeally good😇

There’s lots to go through here.. so let’s talk about this, together!
